The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard appears to be chasing another striker at Ibrox.

Some Rangers fans are voicing their displeasure after an unwanted transfer rumour resurfaced.
According to Teamtalk, Rangers are lining up a bid for the Kilmarnock striker Eamonn Brophy.
Brophy was linked with a move to Ibrox earlier in the summer, when Rangers had an abundance of options at centre forward.
But with Kyle Lafferty released and both Ryan Hardie and Andrew Dallas both sold in recent weeks, the Gers boss Steven Gerrard is said to be on the hunt for a replacement.
Brophy has scored 21 goals in 69 games for Kilmarnock, earning him a first cap for Scotland earlier this year.

But having been on the books of Rangers’ arch-rivals Celtic as a youngster and remained a Bhoys fan, several of a Gers persuasion have reacted strongly to the speculation.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Kill this **** with fire.

Not everyone is so against the idea, however…
Brophy rumours surely ********? Why’d he go from 1st choice at Killie to 3rd choice at us? Also I’m pretty sure he hates us with a passion

Would Brophy be that bad a signing for Rangers?
