Rangers beat Hearts 2=1 at Tynecastle this afternoon.

Rangers have moved to the summit of the Scottish Premiership after beating Hearts 2-1 at Tynecastle this afternoon.
The Gers were back in domestic action this afternoon as they travelled to Tynecastle to take on Hearts, just days after battling to a valiant 0-0 Europa League draw with Villarreal.
Steven Gerrard made four changes to his side in order to bring some freshness to the team, but Rangers fell behind in the first half when Gareth McAuley put through his own net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
However, Rangers fought their way back into the game as Connor Goldson bundled home an equaliser, and Alfredo Morelos turned the game on its head to make it 2-1.
There was still more drama as Scott Arfield was given a red card for a bizarre challenge on goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal, but Rangers held on for all three points.
With Celtic winning the Scottish League Cup final against Aberdeen today, Rangers have now moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership table; a huge moment for the club and fans.

Rangers fans have now been taking to Twitter to react to the performance of winger Eros Grezda, who joined the club from Osijek for £2million in August but has taken a while to really get going in Scotland.
The Albanian impressed against Hearts though, with fans now really feeling that he is getting better by the game, calling him ‘brilliant’ and the ‘real deal’, whilst believing that he will go on to become ‘some player’ for the Gers.
