Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers might miss their star goalkeeper and Brandon Barker tomorrow it seems.

Brandon Barker of Rangers is seen during the Scottish League Cup second round match between East Fife and Rangers at Bayview Stadium on August 18, 2019 in Methil, Scotland.

Allan McGregor and Brandon Barker are injury concerns for Rangers tomorrow.

The Gers resume their Scottish Premiership title bid with a trip to Ross County but there’s two doubts in the form of the goalkeeper and Barker, who joined the Ibrox side this past summer.

Barker, a winger, went off injured before half time in Rangers’ win over Motherwell this past weekend, while McGregor had an awkward landing and suffered an issue with that.

Here’s how Gers fans reacted to the double injury update:

Barker will be particularly disappointed if he’s sidelined again.

McGregor has an excellent record of staying fit since re-signing for Rangers in 2018, but the 23-year-old has endured a stop-start time of it following his summer arrival.

Consequence of that, he hasn’t been able to build up any momentum and show fans of the Glasgow club what he’s all about just yet.

The good news for Rangers is that Steven Gerrard has plenty of left-sided attackers, and Ryan Kent, who replaced Barker on Sunday, might be fit enough to start.

Gerrard’s side are second in the Scottish Premiership, behind Celtic – who host St Mirren tomorrow – on goal difference.
