Rangers fans unhappy with Scottish FA.

Rangers have finally received a full explanation for Daniel Candeias’ red card against St Mirren.
Candeias was sent off for a second bookable offence in injury time in the 2-0 win, which confused the Gers.
The Scottish FA published their verdict into the dismissal. Their report claimed he was sent off for ‘gesturing’ towards opponent Anton Ferdinand.
Steven Gerrard had criticised the confusing red card after the game and Rangers even lodged an appeal on the basis of mistaken identity.
The verdict from the Scottish FA is not exactly satisfactory. It adds more confusion to an already bizarre situation.

Video footage appeared to show Ferdinand antagonising Candeias and not the other way around. There did not seem to be anything from Candeias worthy of even a yellow card.
Referee Willie Collum’s verdict sets a precedent which will be hard to follow up consistently around the league throughout the season.
Rangers fans have hit out at the response from the Scottish FA…
