Rangers fans are reacting to Daniel Bachmann’s claims the Gers have made contact with his representatives regarding a summer move to Ibrox (Daily Record).

Bachmann is currently playing for Rangers’ league rivals, Kilmarnock, on loan.

He will, however, be a Watford player again this summer and says he plans to make his name in the English Premier League.

Watford, though, already employ Ben Foster, Heurelho Gomes and Pontus Dahlberg in Bachmann’s position, which means that is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

A loan to Rangers is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility, therefore, especially if the Gers make changes in their own goalkeeping department.

But what would those of a Gers persuasion make of Bachmann’s arrival?

This is what they’re saying on Twitter…

Rangers currently employ Allan McGregor, Wes Foderingham and Andy Firth in Bachmann’s position, as well as the loaned-out Jak Alnwick and highly-rated youngsters Robby McCrorie, Aidan McAdams and Kieran Wright.

Rangers fans – would you bring Bachmann to Ibrox this summer?
