Glasgow Rangers fans were impressed by Christophe Berra’s display at Ibrox on Sunday.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to social media to comment on Christophe Berra’s performance at Ibrox on Sunday and suggest that the Gers should reignite their interest in the centre-back during the summer.

It has not been the best season for Hearts and their record against Rangers has not exactly been the most impressive, with Craig Levein’s side going into Sunday’s clash having drawn one and lost two of their three league fixtures this term.
And unfortunately for Hearts, their poor recent record against Graeme Murty’s side continued as goals from Jason Cummings and Daniel Candeias put the home side 2-0 in front before Berra set up a nervy end to the game with a header in the second-half.

Hearts may have lost, but Berra’s display did impress a number of the Ibrox faithful as they continue to watch their defenders struggle for form this term.
The likes of Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso have been poor since arriving last summer, while Russell Martin has also been underwhelming lately and it seems that the majority of the Rangers fans would prefer to see Ross McCrorie pushed slightly further forward. In fact, the defender who has probably been their best performer at centre-back this term is David Bates and he is set to leave for Hamburg in the summer.
And after watching him help frustrate Rangers for large parts of Sunday’s clash, several Gers fans have suggested that the club should put Berra back on their radar as they were impressed by his performance.
Here is what some of the Rangers supporters made of Berra’s display…
