Rangers fans on Twitter have poked fun at Scottish Premiership rivals Celtic after comments made by Craig Gordon.

The Celtic goalkeeper criticised his team-mates after Thursday’s 1-1 draw away to Suduva in Lithuania, telling The Record that they need to ditch the ‘every man for themselves’ attitude.

The Hoops, who host Rangers at Parkhead in the first Old Firm derby of the season next week, have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last six games across all competitions.

Brendan Rodgers’s side have endured a very difficult start to the 2018-19 campaign, having won back-to-back trebles in Scotland during the past two years.

And some Rangers fans believe that cracks are starting to show in the all-conquering Bhoys.

Here’s how some Gers supporters reacted to Gordon’s comments:

It might be a bit early for Rangers fans to claim that Celtic are cracking, but it’s imperative that Rodgers arrests this form as soon as possible.

On current form, Steven Gerrard’s side might well be favourites to win at Parkhead next Sunday – especially if they beat Motherwell tomorrow and Celtic lose at home to Hamilton – and losing the first Old Firm of the season would give the Blues a tremendous amount of belief that they can deny Rodgers’s troops an eighth Premiership title in a row.

Craig Gordon of Celtic warm's up before their Betfred Cup Semi-Final between Hibernian and Celtic at Hampden Park on October 21, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.
