Rangers picked up a comfortable win on Saturday afternoon, beating Kilmarnock 2-0 at Ibrox.
The Gers left Alfredo Morelos out of their squad as the Colombian potentially prepares to leave Ibrox, and Steven Gerrard named both Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten in his side.
Rangers signed both strikers this summer, and after substitute appearances against Livingston last weekend, they were handed starts.
It was Roofe who opened the scoring, as he turned home Borna Barisic’s cross from close-range, opening his Rangers account.
Ryan Kent fired home a second late in the day, meaning Rangers have now won four from five league games this season and have still yet to even concede a goal.
Rangers are still seeking real fluency up top, but fans saw encouraging signs from Swiss hitman Itten in his first start.

The former St Gallen man didn’t get on the scoresheet, but fans took to Twitter to praise him having impressed centrally after starting the game out wide to try and exploit some height issues in the Kilmarnock defence.
Supporters believe that Itten is a ‘real handful’ and will be a ‘menace’ once he’s up to speed with life in Scotland.
