Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers won 2-1 on Saturday, but that isn’t to say that fans appreciated everyone’s performance.

It seems like Carlos Pena has been taking one step forward and two back for the majority of his Rangers career.
The £2.7 million summer signing came in for fierce criticism after Saturday’s 2-1 win over Ross County and fans of the Ibrox club don’t seem happy with him overall.

The 27-year-old scored twice in a 3-0 win away to St Johnstone prior to Pedro Caixinha’s sacking in October but he has not really kicked on from that and still, in truth, looks nowhere near to justifying the big money that Rangers spent on him six months ago.
On Saturday, Pena, along with striker Kenny Miller, posted a lifeless, sluggish performance which infuriated the Ibrox faithful and many weren’t shy in expressing their views on Twitter afterwards.

Pena is undoubtedly a good player and he has shown flashes of real promise. Problem is, flashes is all they are and until he finds a level of consistency then the Mexico international can expect regular criticism.
The more expensive you are, the more expectation there is and while Pena might be a victim of his pricetag to some extent, he is still not doing enough for the most part.
