Rangers earned an excellent 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday night.

Rangers fans were delighted with the performance of veteran defender Bruno Alves on Twitter against Aberdeen after the Euro 2016 champion returned to the side following an injury.
The 36-year-old started and finished the match at centre-back alongside Danny Wilson, and kept the likes of Stevie May, Kenny McLean and Ryan Christie quiet as the Gers strolled to victory against Derek McInnes’ side.
Alves had missed Rangers’ last match against Hamilton with a back injury, but returned to help his side earn a fourth clean sheet in his 12 league and cup appearances for the Light Blues.

Murty’s side earned an impressive three points thanks to a James Tavernier brace, with each goal coming either side of an excellent Carlos Pena finish. Celtic loanee Christie was sent off for Aberdeen towards the end of the match.
Rangers fans were ecstatic on Twitter after the match as they earned three crucial points which kept them in touch with the Dons in the Scottish Premiership table at Ibrox, with Alves gaining plenty of plaudits.
One Rangers fans even went as far as saying that even though “he may not have the armband”, which was worn by Kenny Miller, Bruno Alves “is our captain”.
