Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Sydney FC midfielder Brandon O’Neill to Ibrox.

Rangers have been linked with a shock move for Brandon O’Neill. According to The Canberra Times, the Gers want to sign O’Neill from Sydney FC in the summer of 2018.
It has been reported that the Ibrox club are monitoring the 23-year-old central midfielder and are interested in securing his services in the summer of 2018.
O’Neill is a very talented and promising young player who is now an established first-team regular for Sydney FC.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the Gers’ reported interest in O’Neill, with some suggesting that the Australia Under-23 international is the ‘Second Coming’ of Matt McKay.
McKay, currently playing for Australian club Brisbane Roar, was on the books of Rangers during the 2011-12 season.
The 35-year-old versatile Australian player, who can operate as a central midfielder, left-sided midfielder or left-back, failed to make an impact at Ibrox and could make only a handful of first-team appearances for the Gers.
