Rangers beat Livingston at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers avoided a scare at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, coming from a goal down to beat Livingston 3-1 in a fine fightback.
The Gers were looking to bounce back from their 2-0 home defeat to Celtic in the first Old Firm derby of the season, but they were disappointing against Livi.
Rangers looked susceptible against set pieces all day long, and it was no surprise when they gave away a penalty, which Steven Lawless tucked away.
Rangers needed to fight back and did just that as James Tavernier’s free kick went all the way in, before Alfredo Morelos headed Rangers in front.
Lyndon Dykes was sent off for Livi to make their task even harder, especially after missing chances from set pieces, and Brandon Barker added a third to seal the win.
It wasn’t exactly convincing from Rangers, but Steven Gerrard’s side got the job done in the end, and had to do it without new signing Ryan Kent.

Kent went off with a first half hamstring injury, meaning new signing Barker – just back from an injury himself – had to come on to replace him for his Ibrox debut.
The former Manchester City man made an impact with his goal, and fans took to Twitter to admit that they felt Barker ‘looked good’, praising him as a ‘baller’ and ‘brilliant’, whilst acknowledging that he’s better than initially thought after a low-key move to Ibrox.
