Rangers thrashed Livingston 3-0 away from home this afternoon.

Rangers recovered from the midweek defeat at Kilmarnock to pick up a huge 3-0 win over Livingston at Almondvale Stadium this afternoon.
The Gers flopped at Rugby Park in midweek, and with Celtic beating St Mirren and then Hamilton Academical, Steven Gerrard’s men had to win today.
Gerrard got exactly what he wanted in a 3-0 thrashing, with Ryan Jack putting Rangers into a 1-0 lead in the first half.
Ryan Kent then made it 2-0 after the break, before Alfredo Morelos added a third to wrap up a major win for Rangers, taking them back to within three points of Celtic.
Gerrard had to win this game after the midweek disappointment, and he did it whilst bringing left back Borna Barisic back into the Rangers side.
The Croatian had been completely left out of the squad against Kilmarnock, having picked up a knock against HJK Helsinki last weekend – something Gerrard didn’t seem entirely convinced by.

Barisic returned today though, and turned in a fine performance before being substituted in favour of Andy Halliday late on.
Fans have been taking to Twitter to react to Barisic’s performance, praising him as ‘brilliant’ and ‘immense’ at crossing, feeling that he makes such a difference to the side when he is fit and playing – he now just needs consistent playing time.
