Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Borna Barisic against St. Johnstone on Sunday afternoon.
Barisic was in action for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in their Scottish Premiership game against St. Johnstone away from home.
The 26-year-old left-back started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Rangers won 4-0.
The Croatia international had a very good game on a personal level, as he came close with an early free kick, made some good tackles and put in some brilliant crosses.
Barisic has not always played well for Rangers in recent weeks, but he did well against St. Johnstone.
Perhaps the left-back will now play at the high level he showed when he initially joined Rangers.
Rangers fans were impressed with the display produced by the Croatian left-back – who moved to Rangers from NK Osijek in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £2.2 million – and have praised him on Twitter.
