Glasgow Rangers have reportedly rejected a bid that would have seen Alfredo Morelos leave Ibrox.

Rangers fans have been reacting to the reports coming out of the Daily Record on Tuesday which suggested that the Gers have rejected a £7 million offer for Alfredo Morelos from a club in the Chinese Super League.

Morelos has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Ibrox. He currently tops the Scottish Premiership scoring charts, having scored 11 times in the top flight since his £1 million move in the summer.

Despite his goalscoring exploits, the Colombian – who, at 21, is understandably still perfecting his game – has not always been the most reliable performer in Graeme Murty’s squad. Nevertheless, the Record reports that he has attracted a £7 million bid from China during the final days of the January transfer window, which has since been rejected.

Understandably, the news has prompted a lot of discussion on social media amongst the Ibrox faithful. The majority of the fans are adamant that selling the striker during this window would be a mistake, despite the money on offer, as there is little time to actually get a replacement in before the deadline.

However, it has also been pointed out that Rangers should seriously consider the kind of bid that is coming their way as the money may actually be extremely valuable as they look to take the next steps in the Scottish Premiership.

And it was suggested by more than one supporter that if the club do decide to sell Morelos, Rangers must act quickly and target Swansea striker and Gers fan Oli McBurnie before the deadline.

Here is the best of the reaction…
