Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are furious at the moment.

Rangers fans on Twitter haven’t reacted well to what Alastair Johnston has said.
The Rangers director claimed that the Ibrox club were “ahead of the curve” and suggested that fans should accept a second or a third-placed finish this season.
The 69-year-old’s comments come less than a week after Celtic smashed the Gers 4-0 in a Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park last Sunday.
In the Premiership, Rangers, who were demoted to the fourth tier in 2012 and only won promotion back to the top flight in 2016, are 13 points behind the Hoops, who can pick up a seventh successive league title with victory today.

In fact, Brendan Rodgers’s side are on course to win back-to-back domestic trebles, a feat that has never been achieved in Scottish football.
And fans of the Ibrox club can’t believe that Johnston has moved to play down the gulf in quality between both sides.
It is yet another questionable statement made by Rangers’ board, after chairman Dave King effectively confirmed last week that Graeme Murty would not be considered for the permanent manager’s role.
It was a mistimed statement by the club and the fact that it came days before their biggest game of the season is negligible.
