Glasgow Rangers have reportedly offered £4 million to bring Oli McBurnie to Ibrox during the summer transfer window.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports coming out of The Sun over the weekend which suggested that Steven Gerrard has given the green light to a £4 million bid for Oli McBurnie ahead of the summer transfer window.
Gerrard is not even in the hotseat at Ibrox just yet, but appears to be wasting little time making plans for the squad as they look to bounce back from another underwhelming campaign.

McBurnie enjoyed a superb loan spell out on loan with Barnsley, despite the fact that he was unable to keep them in the Championship. He took home their Player of the Year award having only arrived in January, as he scored nine goals in 17 league games for the Tykes.

His form and his love for Rangers has left a number of fans excited about the possibility of signing the forward during the coming months, but there appears to be a general feeling that paying £4 million for him is a strange move.
McBurnie is unproven at the highest level and has just one year left on his contract at the Liberty Stadium, so some of the fans are almost baffled that the Gers feel that he is worth as much as £4 million.
Here is some of the reaction to the reports linking McBurnie with a move to Rangers…
