Former Rangers star Steven Naismith is keen on a return to Ibrox.

Steven Naismith has issued a come and get me plea to former club Rangers, insisting he would be happy to return to Ibrox.
Naismith played for Rangers between 2007 and 2012, before controversially pushing for an exit when the club hit financial trouble.
Naismith signed for Everton, before switching to Norwich City in 2015.
He told The Scotsman: “A return to Rangers would appeal. I’ve spoken in the past about Kilmarnock and Rangers and being appreciative for what they did for me as a player. I would look at those clubs and see if they were options to start with.”

Naismith acknowledged the way he left Ibrox was far from ideal, adding: “Unfortunately, the way I left wasn’t great. I still watch all their games on TV and still speak to all the players and staff I know at the club. “I love hearing how things are going. I still support Rangers and I want them to do well.”
Naismith hasn’t featured for Norwich this season, and hasn’t lived up to expectations at the club since his move from Everton.

He needs a fresh start, and returning to Rangers would allow him to put right the sour note on which his spell at Ibrox ended.
Naismith is 31-year-old and potentially has a few years left in him, and Rangers could be left to regret it if he goes on to play for another Scottish Premiership competitor.
Rangers fans have been split on the idea of Naismith returning, and have strong views.
