Vladimir Weiss once starred for Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox and even played under Pedro Caixinha in Qatar. Celtic fans relished booing him.

Rangers fans got a look at former loanee Vladimir Weiss when Slovakia took on Scotland last night.
The winger came off the bench to a barrack of boos, with Celtic supporters among the Tartan Army making their voices known.

Weiss played for Rangers on loan before they were liquidated, and while his spell at the club was fairly unspectacular, he has retained a bond with the club’s support, engaging with fans on Twitter.
Rangers supporters were frustrated to hear Weiss getting booed, reacting with annoyance on Twitter, with some suggesting this is why they will not attend Scotland games.
Weiss may be regarded fondly among Rangers fans, but Celtic supporters hold him in pure disdain.
At the sight on Weiss coming on and being listed on the teamsheet, there were cries from supporters hoping to see Celtic defenders hack him down.
Weiss came on in the 78th minute of Scotland’s 1-0 win, and barely got into the action.
He could only manage six touches and was unable to create a chance.
It was a missed opportunity for him to try and get on the radar of his former club boss Pedro Caixinha, the current Rangers manager.
