Rangers loanee Umar Sadiq is beginning to show why Steven Gerrard brought him to Ibrox.

Finally Rangers are beginning to see what the fuss is about over talented striker Umar Sadiq.
Sadiq signed for Rangers on loan from Roma in July, only for the 21-year-old to have a slow start.
He is yet to begin a game for Steven Gerrard’s side, and over the recent fortnight he has been playing with the under-20s in order to acclimatise to Scottish football and pick up match fitness.
Yesterday he shone for Rangers’ under-20 side as they beat St Mirren 5-1.
Sadiq scored Rangers first goal and fifth, and he set up their second for Andy Dallas to score.

A free-kick from Sadiq later cannoned back off the post for Dallas to add another, with Serge Atakayi completing the rout.
Sadiq has a way to go before he starts dislodging Alfredo Morelos and now Kyle Lafferty from the Rangers first team, but this was what the club will have wanted to see from him.
