Steven Davis starred for Rangers in Poland as Steven Gerrard’s side earned a hard fought draw.
Rangers drew 0-0 with Legia Warsaw, returning to Ibrox for the second leg knowing a win of any kind will seal qualification into the Europa League group stages.
Davis, 34, was one of Rangers best players on the night, turning in an assured display.
He had to deal with having missiles thrown at him when he took corner kicks, The Scottish Sun reported.
Rangers signed Davis on loan in January from Southampton, before he made his switch permanent this summer.
While he had a slow start, he is really hitting form now and proving to be an invaluable addition.
Rangers are benefitting now from his arrival several months ago.
The Northern Ireland international’s experience came in handy last night and it showed. He wasn’t intimidated by the atmosphere and helped some of the younger players through.
