Glasgow Rangers stormed to an emphatic victory, as the Ibrox side won 3-0 on Sunday.

Several Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to laud Steven Davis’ performance during the Gers’ emphatic victory at Motherwell on Sunday, with many suggesting that the midfielder is looking like the kind of player that Steven Gerrard needs to be signing in the summer.
It has not been the easiest time for Davis since his return to Ibrox on loan during the January transfer window. He took a while to get into the side, and it is probably fair to suggest that the Rangers fans did not see the best of the Northern Irishman in the weeks following the winter break.
However, Davis looked much better against Hearts in midweek and followed that display up with a superb showing in the 3-0 victory at Fir Park on Sunday.
The 34-year-old was exceptional in the middle of the park as Scott Arfield and Jermain Defoe tore Well apart in the final third. Davis broke up play brilliantly, and looked to have the kind of composure on the ball that you would expect from a player who has spent more than six years in the Premier League.

He reminded the supporters of his quality on a day in which Rangers closed the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership. It is surely too late for any title charge, but the next few weeks provide an excellent opportunity for the Gers to send Celtic a message ahead of next season.
And it appears that more and more of the Ibrox faithful are on board with the idea of Davis’ loan being converted into a permanent move in the summer, with many lauding his display in another impressive win.

Here is how some of the fans reacted to Davis’ performance…
