Glasgow Rangers loanee Ryan Kent has been extremely impressive since arriving at Ibrox, and the supporters were generally impressed once again.

There have been plenty of Rangers fans on Twitter who have suggested that Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent was one of the only players in the Gers squad who can be content with his performance during their Scottish League Cup semi-final defeat.

Steven Gerrard’s men failed to book their place in the final as Lewis Ferguson’s late goal handed Aberdeen the victory at Hampden Park. It was an incredibly disappointing afternoon for Rangers who failed to capitalise on their dominance of the play.

It will be difficult for the Gers fans to find many positives from the game, but Kent’s display appears to have received pass marks in many supporters’ eyes.

The winger has been a fantastic loan signing for Rangers. His form has picked up dramatically in recent weeks and he is now establishing himself as arguably the most dangerous player in Gerrard’s squad.

Kent, once again, looked lively on the ball and caused all sorts of problems for the Aberdeen defence. Unfortunately, his teammates could not take advantage of his promising play.

Many Rangers fans are now adamant that the Gers must do all they can to sign Kent permanently from Liverpool during one of the upcoming windows. And that sentiment is arguably a major statement given how much disappointment is lingering amongst the Ibrox faithful following the defeat.
