Rangers’ Croatian midfielder was brilliant at Ibrox for Mark Warburton’s side.
Burnley’s Andre Gray in action with Rangers’ Niko Kranjcar
Rangers picked up a much needed win in the Scottish Premiership yesterday afternoon, with a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle at Ibrox.
It was a good win, although many of the thoughts after the game will be with the family of a Rangers fan who passed away in a coach accident on route to the game.
Rangers won 2-0 thanks to goals from the reinstated Niko Kranjcar and midfielder Andy Halliday.
The Croatian, in particular, had one of his better games since heading to Ibrox this summer.
His goal was a tremendous piece of skill. He dribbled past defenders at ease before smashing home the opening goal of the game.
It was a terrific display from the Croatian, who has so far struggled to perform to the expectations of the Rangers fans.
The veteran midfielder appeared to be slightly out of shape after his move to Ibrox in the summer and Rangers boss Mark Warburton has had to use him correctly since he arrived in Glasgow.
But his talent is undoubted and if he can get his fitness up to the right level then Rangers fans will be hoping to see plenty of other magic moments like this…
