Glasgow Rangers manager Graeme Murty says the club are trying to bring back Andy Halliday to Ibrox.
Rangers are reportedly attempting to bring Andy Halliday back to Ibrox next month.
Halliday was sent out on loan to Azerbaijani side Gabala by former Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha.
Graeme Murty added: “All options are being explored with those guys. In certain areas, we do lack experience and I think that showed at times against Kilmarnock.
“So all possibilities will be explored. We are looking at that.”
Halliday has not played regularly for Gabala and Rangers could benefit from bringing him back.
The Gers have lost Kenny Miller and Graham Dorrans to injury which stretches their squad, and bringing Halliday back is a quick way to add depth, along with winger Michael O’Halloran.
Glasgow born Halliday, 26, has was signed by Rangers in 2015 from Bradford City.
His quality has divided opinion, and while he is not a player who will transform the club into title winners, in the short term getting him back is a pragmatic step.
