The Glasgow Rangers forward looks be on his way out of Ibrox this summer, according to reports.
Rangers’ Michael O’Halloran shoots
Reports that Michael O’Halloran failed to show up for Rangers Under-20s’ fixture against Hearts on Monday haven’t gone down well with the Gers faithful.
The Scottish Sun claims O’Halloran was due to start for Graeme Murty’s side, adding that the out of favour forward’s actions have left his Ibrox future in doubt – as if it wasn’t already.
The 2016 signing from St Johnstone has made just six league starts this season, featuring in only one of Pedro Caixinha’s four games in charge of Rangers.
And it seems there’ll be few tears shed if the Portuguese calls time on O’Halloran’s Gers career this summer:
O’Halloran was linked with moves to Hearts, Motherwell, Ross County and St Johnstone during the January transfer window, although it remains to be seen whether either of the quartet will renew their interest in the coming months.
Rangers paid £500,000 for the 26-year-old, whose contract runs until May 2020, and may have to take a loss on the goalless former Scotland Under-21 international.
What does the future hold for O’Halloran at Rangers?
