Glasgow Rangers suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Hamilton Academical at Ibrox.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustration after watching the Gers suffer a 2-0 loss at home to Hamilton on Saturday – and much of their anger has been directed towards left-back Lee Hodson.
The Light Blues missed the chance to go second in the Scottish Premiership as Accies left Ibrox with the three points despite Graeme Murty’s men creating a number of brilliant chances throughout the contest.

It was a frustrating day in front of goal, with Alfredo Morelos, in particular, squandering a number of chances, and they were punished for their inability to break Hamilton’s resistance as the away side scored twice in the second-half to move themselves up to seventh in the top flight.
After the game, a number of the players came in for criticism, but the one who seemed to receive the most on social media was Hodson – who was filling in at left-back with Declan John and Lee Wallace both sidelined for the game.

Hodson has not exactly enjoyed the best spell since arriving at Ibrox, often being overshadowed by James Tavernier in his favoured position on the right-hand side of the back four, and his performance against Hamilton hints that he will not be putting pressure on John and Wallace when the pair are fit.
Some of the supporters compared the Northern Ireland international to a Sunday league footballer, while others went as far as to suggest that he could be a contender for the least impressive player to ever wear the Rangers shirt.
Here is the best of the reaction…
