Rangers picked up an impressive win in the Highlands last night – as they claimed a narrow 1-0 win against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers went into the game hoping to pick up another win and continue on a winning run after beating Partick Thistle prior to the international break.

They did just that, courtesy of a goal from their veteran striker Kenny Miller.

The 36-year-old smashed in an exceptional volley at the back post to earn ERangers all three points on their trip to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

In the end Mark Warburton’s men did enough to deserve the win which, temporarily at least, moves them to third in the table and level on points with Aberdeen.

The goal from Rangers’ veteran striker Miller was also a landmark strike. It was his 100th for the club.

Miller is currently in his third stint at the club and Gers fans have even forgotten about his one-season stint at Old Firm rivals Celtic – such is his legend at Ibrox now.

Miller is coming toward the end of his career and adding to the 100 at Rangers is looking like a short-term project.

But Rangers fans were clearly grateful to their old head on Twitter last night…
