Glasgow Rangers produced a stunning performance to beat their rivals 1-0 at Ibrox on Saturday.

Joe Worrall has come in for a lot of criticism since arriving at Rangers in the summer, but there is no question that the supporters were delighted with his Old Firm display on Saturday.
Steven Gerrard’s men beat Celtic 1-0 at Ibrox. Ryan Jack was the only player to beat Craig Gordon, but it was only because of the Hoops goalkeeper that Rangers’ win was not by a greater margin.
The Light Blues were superb, particularly in the middle of the park. On the rare occasion however, that Celtic managed to break through and ask questions of the defence, the Gers responded exceptionally.
Worrall, in particular, looked brilliant against the champions. He produced a superbly-timed sliding challenge during the first-half that really summed up Rangers’ performance.

The centre-back has not had the easiest time since arriving at Ibrox on loan during the previous window. His form has not always convinced the fans, but plenty took to Twitter on Saturday to laud the Nottingham Forest-owned star.
It was certainly his best performance for Rangers, and many of the Ibrox faithful were more than happy to admit that he had responded superbly to their criticism. His challenge now is to produce that kind of performance on a regular basis while he remains with the Gers.
