Glasgow Rangers midfielder Jamie Barjonas is reportedly set to leave Ibrox this summer and go out on loan.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the recent reports that emerged from The Scottish Sun that suggested that Gers youngster Jamie Barjonas is set to be allowed to leave Ibrox for a season-long loan.
Barjonas is one of a number of exciting prospects currently threatening to break through with the Scottish Premiership giants. The 19-year-old has spent around a decade on the club’s books and has managed to make a handful of appearances for the Gers’ first-team.

After appearing a number of times last season, Barjonas may have perhaps been hoping that this coming campaign would see the teenager enjoy a real breakout season under new boss Steven Gerrard. But it appears that he will actually get the chance to prove himself elsewhere.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the news has gone down extremely positively amongst the Rangers fans on social media. Barjonas is clearly an extremely bright talent, and many of the supporters feel that his best chance of realising his potential will come by leaving temporarily.
And with Partick undoubtedly looking to get promoted at the first attempt next season having been relegated last term, the Scotland youth international will have a fantastic opportunity to make a statement to Gerrard if he does ultimately end up joining the second tier side.
Here is the best of the reaction to the Barjonas reports…
