Rangers defeated Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox this afternoon.

Rangers won the final Old Firm derby of the season as they beat Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox this afternoon, turning in a superb performance.
The Gers lost 2-1 to Celtic in March’s Old Firm derby at Parkhead, but did at least have an Ibrox win under their belt having beaten Celtic 1-0 back in December.
This was Rangers’ best Old Firm display of the season, and they took an early lead as James Tavernier’s free kick missed everybody and nestled in the bottom corner inside two minutes.
Rangers were energetic with their pressing and committed throughout, and scored a classy second after the break as Jermain Defoe dummied Glen Kamara’s pass, allowing Scott Arfield to score.
Celtic may have already wrapped up the title, but this dreadful display – featuring just one shot on target – may damage interim manager Neil Lennon’s hopes of clinching the job permanently.
Rangers fans will be delighted with an outstanding display, and whilst everyone in blue impressed today, midfielder Glen Kamara stole the show.

The Finn, 23, was a bargain signing from Dundee in January, and whilst he’s starred with Rangers so far, he really announced himself on the big stage today with a display full of endeavour and quality.
Rangers fans were dazzled by Kamara’s display, branding him ‘an absolute baller’ and incredible, with many noting that signing him for around £50,000 was daylight robbery, believing he’s the steal of the decade.
