Rangers picked up their fourth win in a row earlier today, with a deflected Martyn Waghorn effort enough to claim all three points against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The result was one that looked in doubt for large parts of the game, as Rangers put in a poor performance against Caley at Ibrox.

They came under severe pressure throughout the game and in the end were thankful to performances from Wes Foderingham and veteran defender Clint Hill.

Hill put in a particularly fantastic performance.

The 38-year-old rolled back the years with a tough and assured performance at the back that had the Rangers fans roaring with appreciation at Ibrox and it will no doubt please Mark Warburton to see him doing so well in Glasgow.

When Rangers snapped up Hill on a free transfer in the summer not many of the Ibrox faithful were pleased to see him arrive.

His age concerned fans who felt his best days might be behind him. But recently he has been brilliant for the club and fans are happily eating their humble pie regarding Hill’s impact at Ibrox this season.

Here is some of the best reaction to his performance from Twitter…
