Glasgow Rangers picked up an important Scottish Premiership win, but one opponent impressed the Ibrox faithful.

Rangers kept themselves in second place in the Scottish Premiership after they came from behind to claim an impressive win over Hibernian at Easter Road – and while a number of the Gers players received praise from the fans on social media, there was also some praise directed towards one of Neil Lennon’s men.
Graeme Murty’s side made it four wins in a row in the top flight on Wednesday. After going behind early on, goals from Josh Windass and Alfredo Morelos saw the Gers turn the game on its head shortly before the break.

And with no goals coming in the second-half, it was the Light Blues who were celebrating a victory that ensures that they remain Celtic’s closest rivals at the moment. But one Hibs player certainly impressed the Rangers fans on Twitter.
Brandon Barker began the game on the bench for the home side, but came on six minutes into the second-half and made a massive impact, twice hitting the post and generally looking to be the most dangerous Hibs player while he was on the pitch.

His performance has prompted a number of Rangers fans to praise him, but to also ask a question of Director of Football Mark Allen, given his links to Manchester City – the club Barker is on loan at Hibs from.
Rangers used Allen’s connections to bring Aaron Nemane to Ibrox on loan until January. And with Nemane barely making an impact since arriving while Barker clearly has the talent to cause real problems down the wing, a number of supporters are perplexed as to why the Gers did not manage to bring Barker in instead.
