Glasgow Rangers’ Scottish Premiership campaign ended with the Ibrox side suffering a disappointing defeat.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to suggest that they hope to never see Borna Barisic play for the Gers again after Steven Gerrard’s side rounded off their season with a 2-1 defeat.
The Light Blues went into their clash with Kilmarnock having won their previous six games, including coming out on top in the most recent Old Firm clash with an outstanding performance at Ibrox.
However, Killie took home the three points at Rugby Park, with Chris Burke and Eamonn Brophy scoring either side of Alfredo Morelos’ emphatic strike shortly after the hour mark.
The winner came after Barisic gave away a penalty in the 88th minute. Some Rangers fans slammed the decision to award the spot-kick, but few fans are defending the Croatian’s performance over the 90 minutes.

Barisic made a very bright start to his Ibrox career, but seemed to go off the boil quite quickly. The 26-year-old has failed to regain his place from the likes of Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan – neither of whom are playing in their favoured position on the left.
And there are now plenty of supporters who are hoping that Barisic is sold in the summer and a replacement is signed ahead of next season. There are clearly a lot of doubts as to whether the former Osijek man will ever prove to be a success at Ibrox.
