Rangers’ progress under Pedro Caixinha took a hit on Saturday afternoon as they could only draw 1-1 at home with Motherwell.
The Gers beat Hamilton Academical 4-0 in their last game before the international break, with fans optimistic that new manager Caixinha could string together a run of results.
However, they were dealt an early blow against Motherwell, as striker Louis Moult continued his superb season, heading home his 15th goal of the season after just three minutes.
Caixinha stunningly made three changes at half time, taking off defenders Lee Hodson, Clint Hill and Lee Wallace in favour of Michael O’Halloran, Andy Halliday and Joe Garner as Rangers chased an equaliser.
They did finally get the leveller on 61 minutes, as substitute Garner found the net – but Rangers couldn’t go on and find a winner as they played out a 1-1 draw.
Fans were unsurprisingly disappointed with the result, as Rangers dropped two points at home against a team they will have expected to beat – and winger Barrie McKay was heavily criticised after the game.

The winger has endured an up-and-down campaign this season after starring last term, and many fans took to Twitter to criticise his end product and final ball having got into good positions against Motherwell.
Whilst some defended the youngster, others feel that he should be dropped or even sold this summer after a poor showing at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
