Glasgow Rangers youngster Andy Dallas is surely pushing for a first-team chance at Ibrox.

A number of Rangers fans have suggested that they want to see Andrew Dallas given a chance in the first-team at Ibrox as he continued his brilliant form with a hat-trick for the reserves on Monday.
Dallas lined up in a Gers side that included a number of senior players, including Nikola Katic and Borna Barisic. But while Steven Gerrard may have had his eye on the latter pair, it was the striker who stole the show once again.
The 19-year-old bagged his first goal after a great ball from Dapo Mebude, and added his second just before the break with an emphatic finish into the roof of the net.
The treble, and Rangers’ rout, was complete with just under 20 minutes remaining as Dallas latched onto a pass from Josh McPake and slid the ball under the goalkeeper.

It was a performance that must have caught Gerrard’s attention. Dallas has been excellent throughout the campaign for Graeme Murty’s side, and many fans are now asking for the teenager to be promoted.
The Scottish Cup tie with Cowdenbeath after the winter break has been earmarked by a couple of supporters as the perfect opportunity to throw Dallas into the side. But perhaps it would be wrong to rule out the possibility of his debut coming in one of the eight games before that fixture in mid-January.

Here is what some of the supporters made of Dallas’ hat-trick for the reserves…
