Rangers have struck a deal to bring Allan McGregor back to Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard has sealed his second signing as Glasgow Rangers manager, former Gers stopper Allan McGregor.
McGregor’s deal was mooted even before Gerrard was appointed, with the new manager rubber stamping the goalkeeper’s Ibrox return.
He follows Burnley winger Scott Arfield in joining Rangers, with the Canadian sealing his move last week.
McGregor is 36-years-old and while he is unlikely to still be at Rangers in five years time, he makes them better for next season.
New boss Steven Gerrard has to mix long term vision with instant improvement and strengthening the spine of the Rangers team is essential.

Landing McGregor is essential and he will have to trouble settling in after enjoying a previous spell with Rangers when they were in the top flight.
Fans view him as an upgrade over current number one Wes Foderingham and are excited that the club have tied up an early signing.
