Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton appears keen to bolster his midfield ranks.
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to discuss a recent report from The Scottish Sun that suggested that the Gers were considering a move for Diego Poyet.
The Light Blues finally brought an end to the Joey Barton saga this week as his contract was torn up following a turbulent spell at Ibrox.

But while it took a while to shift Barton off their books, it has seemingly taken little time for Mark Warburton to find a potential replacement.
Poyet is currently a free agent after leaving West Ham United in the summer, but was already heading for a return to football as The Scottish Sun suggested that Derby County were keen on a move.

However, The Scottish Sun adds that he temporarily put the brakes on a switch to the Rams after hearing of Rangers’ interest, which perhaps suggests that he would prefer a move to the Scottish Premiership.
As his arrival would come with little risk – as he is currently unattached – most Gers supporters that have taken to social media to discuss the reports appear to be optimistic about a potential move and feel that Poyet would be able to realise the enormous amount of potential he possesses if he moves to Ibrox.
