Glasgow Rangers have reportedly been left dealing with the news that Graham Dorrans will miss the next three months for the Ibrox side.

Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter to reports coming from STV that suggested that Graham Dorrans could now miss the next three months of action after having surgery on his ankle.
Dorrans has not been seen in the Gers first-team since Pedro Caixinha’s final game in charge of the club back in October when he was taken off early on after being on the end of a nasty challenge.

He has now missed seven games – all of which have been overseen by Graeme Murty – and it appears that he is now set to miss many more, with STV reporting that he is set to be out for up to three months after undergoing surgery on Wednesday.
It will be a big blow for Murty, who may have perhaps been hoping over the last few weeks that he would have been able to bring the former Norwich City man back into the fold before the winter break.

Amongst the Rangers fans, there is undoubtedly a real sense of disappointment about the news and injustice as the challenge that could now keep him sidelined for almost five months in total went unpunished.
The Gers fans have urged the club to make sure that they use the January transfer window to strengthen their options in the middle of the park with Dorrans – who joined for £1.3 million in the summer, according to Sky Sports – now set to miss the majority of the season. One name that has been mentioned as a potential target is former Gers midfielder Charlie Adam – though it remains to be seen if the club have any plans to bolster their options next months.
Here is the best of the reaction…
