Next in line for Ibrox: Neil McCann is now second favourite for the Rangers job.

The Rangers managerial saga is taking another potential twist with odds being cut on Neil McCann taking over at Ibrox.
Rangers are still seeking a successor to Pedro Caixinha, who was fired in October after a League Cup semi-final defeat.

But a surprise name has seen his odds crash over the past 24 hours, former Rangers midfielder Neil McCann.
SkyBet now rate McCann as second favourite, priced at 9/2 at the time of writing.
That puts him ahead of Graeme Murty (8/1) and former boss Alex McLeish, who has drifted out to 18/1 having briefly been favourite a fortnight ago.
McCann is currently managing Dundee, who sit ninth of 12 teams in the Scottish Premiership, and beat Rangers 2-1 a fortnight ago.
Rangers fans are unsure however if McCann is the right man…
Aberdeen fans have been sick of speculation linking McInnes to Rangers, so the prospect of McCann landing the job has gone down well.
But it is Celtic fans who are revelling in a potential McCann appointment at Ibrox the most.
The sentiment is that McCann is a good enough manager to threaten their dominance, and are hoping he is the Rangers’ board’s chosen option.
Here is a look at the reaction…
