Rangers ace Josh Windass has been linked with moves to Derby County and Newcastle United.
Reports from The Scottish Sun earlier today suggested that Derby County and Newcastle United are interested in signing Rangers playmaker Josh Windass in January – prompting reactions on Twitter from Gers fans.
Windass, 22, joined Rangers from League Two side Accrington Stanley over the summer, joining up with the Gers having penned a pre-contract agreement with the club during the January transfer window.

The attacking midfielder starred with Accrington last season, smashing 17 goals in all competitions before heading to Ibrox, where he has suffered a number of injury problems so far.
Windass has played just 12 games for Rangers so far, but has impressed enough in his limited appearances to generate alleged interest from teams looking to take him back to English football.

The Scottish Sun reported earlier today that Derby County and Newcastle United are both keen to land Windass as the January transfer window draws ever closer.
Unsurprisingly, the story has generated reactions from Rangers fans on Twitter, with the subject seemingly dividing Ibrox supporters over whether to sell Windass or not should teams attempt to sign him.

Some believe that Windass is a key player for the future of Rangers, and ultimately can’t see him leaving Ibrox just a matter of months after arriving in Glasgow.
Press Association’s Andy Newport reported on Twitter earlier this year that Windass has a £3.5m release clause in his deal, and some fans remembered that by suggesting that £3.5m would be a great bit of business for Rangers given their bargain deal for him over the summer, and whilst they think Windass should continue at Ibrox and develop at Rangers, such a big fee would seemingly tempt fans into selling him.
