Rangers are reportedly looking to bring free agent midfielder Leon Osman to Ibrox.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are eyeing up a move to sign free agent midfielder Leon Osman – and fans have taken to Twitter to respond.
The Gers landed a host of midfielders over the summer, with Matt Crooks, Joey Barton, Jordan Rossiter, Josh Windass and Niko Kranjcar all arriving to join Mark Warburton’s side.

However, Barton had his contract terminated after just eight games, Kranjcar has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, whilst Crooks, Rossiter and Windass have all endured injury problems too.
That means that Rangers boss Warburton is likely to target a new midfielder in January, and whilst a host of names have been linked with the club, Leon Osman is the latest name touted for a move to Ibrox.

The Scottish Sun report that Osman, 35, is being eyed up by Rangers for a move to Ibrox, and given that he’s a free agent, the former England international can sign for a new club at any time.
Osman came up through the ranks at Everton, and racked up almost 450 appearances for the Toffees before being released at the end of last season, and he has been without a club ever since.
Now, with a potential reunion with ex-Everton team-mate David Weir – now Rangers assistant manager – on the cards, Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the speculation.
Many believe that Osman is too old to make an impact with Rangers, and think that manager Warburton is showing that he learned nothing from deals for Barton and Kranjcar by signing another former Premier League midfielder who is past his best.
Others think that Osman would be a better addition than Barton thanks to his professionalism, and whilst some believe he can do a job on a short-term deal, there isn’t uch enthusiasm aong Rangers fans about a move for Osman.
