Glasgow Rangers have taken their number of summer signings up to eight, with Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera becoming the latest to arrive at Ibrox.

Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that the club have announced that they have signed both Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera.
Pedro Caixinha has already overseen a hectic summer at Ibrox, previously bringing in six new signings as he looks to help the side put a difficult year behind them during his first full campaign at the club.
And the latest players to be unveiled – taking the number of summer signings to eight, including seven permanent deals while young winger Dalcio has arrived on loan – are Herrera and Pena, both of whom have arrived on three-year deals, as confirmed by the club’s Twitter account.
And the news has undoubtedly received a positive reaction on social media, with many Gers fans now looking forward to the upcoming season with a level of optimism that they probably did not have when the curtain was brought down on the previous campaign.
But Caixinha’s eight arrivals should ensure that much of the disappointment from the previous season does not linger, with the team instead being able to look at the upcoming campaign as a fresh start.
And the supporters appear to be hopeful that Herrera and Pena, as well as the other six signings – and any other players who arrive through the door – can play a crucial role in helping the side challenge for a place at the summit of the Scottish Premiership.

Here is the best of the reaction to the news that Rangers have completed two more signings…
