The Rangers midfielder could even miss next weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-final, according to Ibrox boss Murty.
Rangers manager Graeme Murty has confirmed Josh Windass will not be fit to face Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday.
The Rangers attacking midfielder was involved in a collision with Motherwell’s Cedric Kipre at the weekend, and may even miss next week’s Scottish Cup semi-final date with Celtic, according to his boss.
Windass has had an impressive few months, scoring 16 goals and creating seven since Murty took temporary charge in late October.
Yet, despite his recent form, you’d be hard-pressed – it seems – to find too many Rangers fans disappointed by the news of the Englishman’s impending absence.

Windass’ absence could create a pathway for Ross McCrorie’s first start of 2018, which would in theory provide Graham Dorrans with greater freedom to attack from central midfield.
Alternatively, Murty could replace Windass with Jason Cummings and play with two out-and-out strikers against Dundee.
