Glasgow Rangers ace Hastie left Ibrox on loan for Rotherham and he now has three goals in three games for the English side.

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the latest performance by Ibrox loanee Jake Hastie as he weighed in with a third goal in as many games for Rotherham United on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old Rangers winger scored the League One side’s only goal as they drew 1-1 with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, and he gave opposition full-back Conor McLaughlin such a torrid time that Black Cats boss Jack Ross withdrew him not long after the Millers’ equaliser.
Since making the move to the New York Stadium on transfer deadline day, Hastie – who has also played for Rangers in the Europa League and Scottish League Cup this season – has been nothing short of sensational as he opened his account on his debut against Doncaster Rovers, though he couldn’t prevent a 2-1 loss.
Up next came Bolton Wanderers and Hastie scored once again as Rotherham ran out 6-1 winners, and now he has a third in three games after helping the Millers pick up a point against one of the English third tier’s biggest sides – Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie saying he “nearly took the net off with his strike”.
Here is what some Rangers fans said on social media during and after the game, with some praising him, others wishing they’d never sent him out on loan and others pleased with his development – and dreaming of just how good he could be once he’s back:
After progressing through the youth ranks at Motherwell, Hastie went on to earn a professional contract at Fir Park before spending time on loan at Airdrieonians and Alloa Athletic.
The Scotland Under-21 international then returned to his parent club in January 2019, and he rattled in seven goals in just 15 appearances in all competitions, leading to Rangers swooping to secure his signature earlier this summer.
