The Glasgow Rangers striker has been away from Ibrox on international duty.

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have been commenting on Twitter about Alfredo Morelos and how the Ibrox striker fared for Colombia in yesterday’s 3-0 friendly defeat to Algeria at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
After setting up Baghdad Bounedjah for Algeria’s opener 15 minutes into the match, Riyad Mahrez opened his account five minutes later, before striking again 20 minutes into the second half as the Africa Cup of Nations champions put Morelos and co to the sword in Lille.
The Rangers goal machine was named in Carlos Queiroz’s starting XI as he looked to stake his claim for a regular spot in the national side, the Ibrox man having come off the bench against Chile after Duvan Zapata went off injured in the 23rd minute.
However, Morelos had a quiet day on the field, with little service coming his way, and he failed to find the back of the net, eventually being substituted in the 70th minute in a forgettable night for Colombia.
Here is what some fans – Bears and Cafeteros alike – were saying on social media regarding the Ibrox ace’s exploits on the day:
Morelos will now return to Rangers duty as Steven Gerrard and co prepare to take on Hearts in the Scottish Premiership this Sunday.
