The Glasgow Rangers man has fallen out of favour at Ibrox with Steven Gerrard not having included him in a senior Gers matchday squad since April.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Eros Grezda’s display for the Ibrox colts in their latest Scottish Challenge Cup match last night.
The young Rangers beat Ballymena United 1-0 in the tie at the Showgrounds as Serge Atakayi hit an 87th-minute winner, with Jamie Barjonas assisting the 20-year-old.
Grezda, meanwhile, has long been out of favour at Ibrox, last appearing in one of Steven Gerrard’s matchday squads five months ago, and much of his game time is now coming in the club’s youth games.
Here is what some Bears said on social media regarding the Albania international’s latest appearance in the Rangers shirt, albeit out of the first team:
The Albania international was last in the first-team picture at the start of April and was expected to leave in the summer transfer window, with Gerrard admitting that the Gers received interest in the player they signed for a reported fee of £1.8million a year ago.
Rangers Colts’ win set up an away fourth-round tie against West Midlands-based National League outfit Solihull Moors on Saturday 12 October.
