Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have already been credited with interest in McAuley, but could two of his former teammates do a job at Ibrox?

It is not just Gareth McAuley that Rangers fans are hoping will join Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox revolution, after the defender’s release was announced by West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday.
McAuley, in whom Rangers have already been credited with interest (courtesy of the Daily Record), was one of three players let go by the Baggies, alongside goalkeeper Boaz Myhill and midfielder Claudio Yacob.

And West Brom’s announcement has captured the imagination of several of the Ibrox faithful.

Rangers have already added in all three players’ positions during the summer transfer window, although spaces could emerge if new homes can be found for surplus players between now and the window’s end in August.
Goalkeepers Wes Foderingham, Jak Alnwick and Robby McCrorie have all been linked with Ibrox exits, as have centre-backs Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso, and central midfielder Andy Halliday.
Should Myhill, McAuley, Yacob interest Rangers after their West Bromwich Albion departures?
