The Rangers players are back in training ahead of the 2018/19 season, and manager Steven Gerrard appears to be putting them through their paces.

Steven Gerrard hasn’t yet taken charge of a competitive game as Rangers manager – that time will come on July 12 against FK Shkupi in the first round of Europa League qualifying – but a lot of supporters are delighted to see him getting the players into shape after a video surfaced on Twitter.
The video is taken from a training camp in Malaga where the team is currently working hard to get in shape ahead of 2018/19, and it makes Gerrard out to be quite the authoritarian.

The 38-year-old appears to have an air of knowledge and decisiveness about him, which has gone down extremely well with a lot of Rangers supporters online.

Gerrard, of course, captained Liverpool for years in the Premier League and was famed for his leadership qualities and being vocal on the pitch, and those things appear to have followed him into coaching.
The former England man had been learning the managerial game by overseeing the U18s at Liverpool before he was named new Rangers boss in late April. Now, he is determined to get his players fit as they try to end Celtic’s recent dominance of Scottish football.
