The Rangers left-back has only appeared once since Steven Gerrard arrived at Ibrox.

Rangers fans are reacting on Twitter to news of yet another injury blow for the Ibrox left-back, Lee Wallace.
Steven Gerrard, the Rangers manager, confirmed that Wallace, who has only played once in 13 months for the Gers, is set for another lay-off.
“Lee Wallace has picked up an injury in training – he’s got a grade one groin strain so he’ll be out for a couple of weeks,” Gerrard said via the official Rangers Youtube channel on Wednesday afternoon.
“That is disappointing as he was looking better and better, so this will set him back a short while.”
Along with then-teammate Kenny Miller, Wallace recently won an appeal against the sanctions imposed upon him at the end of last season, an episode which appears to have soured some fans’ relationship with the former Hearts player, whose contract expires at the end of this campaign.

Rangers recruited two new players in Wallace’s position – Jon Flanagan and Borna Barisic – during the summer transfer window, which should ensure they able to cope in the former player’s absence.
